HISTORY

Our very first six employees at the municipal saddlery were full of entrepreneurial spirit and drive. Little has changed since those days – even though we have since expanded our core portfolio in all directions and now have over 10,000 employees working for us here in Wolfsburg from 35 sites throughout the world. However, whether we are talking leather and textiles, laminations and seat covers, foams and brake discs, glass or yachts, one thing always applies: We are still doing what we do with the greatest of conviction. And this includes investigating new directions and departing down fresh paths. Our young team and our financial independence give us the wherewithal to do this, and our past experience gives us the necessary courage.
