Prevent Fabrics Develops and Certifies New CORDURA® TrueLock™ Fabric

Prevent Fabrics has reached an important new milestone in its product development, successfully developing and certifying a new material incorporating CORDURA® TrueLock™ Fabric technology in cooperation with INVISTA.
The newly certified CORDURA® TrueLock™ 1100 dtex PU FC IRR article expands Prevent Fabrics’ portfolio of high-performance technical textiles and represents another step in the company’s continued development of materials for demanding applications.
CORDURA® TrueLock™ Fabric technology is engineered to provide durable, consistent colour and high levels of performance. Its solution-dyed construction locks colour into the fibre during production, helping provide strong colour consistency alongside resistance to fading and abrasion.
The technology also offers inherent IR capability, making it suitable for applications where material durability, visual consistency and demanding technical performance requirements are essential.
Expanding our technical capabilities
The successful development and certification of the new article strengthens Prevent Fabrics’ capabilities in the production of specialised technical textiles.
For Prevent Fabrics, the project is significant not only as a new product development, but also as an opportunity to expand into new market segments and establish relationships with customers seeking certified, high-performance textile solutions.
Working with established material technologies such as CORDURA® allows Prevent Fabrics to combine its own manufacturing and textile expertise with internationally recognised performance standards.
Building new opportunities
The introduction of the CORDURA® TrueLock™ 1100 dtex PU FC IRR article forms part of Prevent Fabrics’ broader focus on developing new materials, expanding its technical expertise and responding to increasingly specialised customer requirements.
This latest achievement creates further opportunities for Prevent Fabrics to support customers across demanding technical applications while continuing to broaden both its product portfolio and international market reach.
