ASA Energija, a subsidiary of ASA Group, leads the Group’s focus on solar power generation across Bosnia and Herzegovina. After launching Phase I with two 4 MW photovoltaic plants (ASA L1 and ASA L2) operational since July 2024, the company is now developing Phase II, adding two new solar fields — ASA L3 (21 MW) and ASA L4 (29.4 MW). Together they will deliver a total capacity of 50.4 MW AC (66 MWp DC) across 950,000 m² of ASA-owned land, representing a total investment of approximately €45 million.
With an expected annual output of 80 GWh, strong irradiation levels (1,290 kWh/m²), and a confirmed 110 kV transmission network connection, the project is advancing through permitting and design stages, targeting construction approval in Q4 2025. Energy produced will be supplied through bilateral contracts, regional trading, and corporate PPAs, reinforcing ASA Energija’s role as a key solar energy producer in South-East Europe and supporting the EU Green Agenda.
